Homemade Pralines
Blogger HediHearts created this super easy praline recipe using our nut pastes. They're perfect as presents for special friends or as an indulgent treat for your self.
Ingredients
- 75g dark chocolate
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- The Nut Kitchen Almond Paste, Pistachio Paste and/or Hazelnut Paste
Equiment
- Praline moulds/silicone case
Method
Melt chocolate and coconut oil in a heatproof bowl over simmering water or simply pop in the microwave.
Paint a layer of chocolate inside the praline moulds, set the rest of melted chocolate aside.
Pop in the freezer for 5 minutes or until the chocolate has firmed up.
Next, add a small bit of each paste into each praline mould, making sure you leave some space at the top for adding the rest of the melted chocolate. You can make up to 12 pralines, 4 each with hazelnut, almond and pistachio paste fillings.
Now spoon the remaining melted chocolate on to the top of the mould and pop back in the freezer. Leave in there for 15 minutes and then devour!
To avoid melting, store in the fridge for up to a week.
